Health Guarantee

The buyer has 72 hours from the time of pickup (Sunday’s excluded) to have the puppy checked by a licensed vet in order to ensure the 365 day limited health guarantee from the puppy’s date of birth.  Failure to have the puppy examined by a licensed vet within the above specified time will void the following health guarantee.

Seller assumes no responsibility for this puppy after leaving the premises, such as:  medical expenses, landlord’s disapproval, allergy to animals, disagreement of family or for any other reason.  It is further understood and agreed that no warranty or representation has been made with respect to said puppy, except as set forth in writing in this agreement.

If this puppy is examined by a licensed vet within the first 365 days from the date it was born and found to have an untreatable, life threatening, genetic or congenital defect that would render the pet to be due cause for euthanasia, or cause death, the purchaser will receive a 100% credit of the original purchase price of puppy toward another puppy from seller when one is available.  If it is determined that the puppy can be treated and the condition can be cured or fixed, even if it is a genetic, congenital or any other condition besides such, then it is the purchase’s sole responsibility to do so and at the purchaser’s expense.  If purchaser is unable to afford the cost of treatment, this will not entitle purchaser to a replacement puppy.  If a puppy dies from a genetic or hereditary defect, a necropsy and full report will be needed and sent to seller from a licensed veterinarian within two business days.  The seller reserves the right to ask for an additional necropsy from a second veterinarian.  There are no refunds in part or whole only credit towards a replacement puppy of equal value.  In the case where a said above condition appears to be present, the seller reserves the right to request a second opinion from a licensed vet named by the seller.  All veterinarian expenses concurred during the life of the above said puppy is the buyer’s responsibility, and at no time will any veterinarian costs be the seller(s) responsibility.  The seller is only responsible to replace a puppy of equal value if all terms are met in this contract.

The following items are a few examples of conditions not covered in the untreatable, life threatening congenital and hereditary health guarantee. These are not covered because they are considered normal for the breed: mange of any kind, cherry eye, entropian, ectropian, “loose hips” skin allergies, coccidian, internal parasites, bacterial or viral illnesses, and elongated soft palate, narrow trachea, stenotic nares (narrow nose opening).   There is no guarantee against hypoglycemia, kennel cough, heat stroke, exhaustion, dehydration, and human error or neglect. All puppies given replacement under guarantee will need all registration papers returned and signed over to seller.  To qualify for this guarantee, purchases must have kept the puppy under the care of a licensed vet.  The care must include all vaccinations recommended by the vet and given by the vet and a copy of all your puppy’s health records must be submitted to make a claim.  Guarantee is not valid in case of accidental death or injury.

It is important to remember that English Bulldogs can overheat quickly and easily and may die as a result of overheating.

The death, injury of loss said puppy due to theft, carelessness, recklessness, abuse, neglect, or accident will not entitle the purchases to any compensation from the seller.

This puppy is warranted only for the purpose of being a companion animal and not for any other reason.

We ask the purchaser not to use the said puppy for breeding purposes before it is 365 days of age for a male and 485 days if it is a female.

The purchaser agrees to take good care of this puppy, feed and house puppy properly, and maintain vaccinations and proper vet care.
